Orphaned Babies

Helping the Helpless

When faced with an orphaned baby we will try everything possible to reunite it with its mother. Natural mothers are the best mothers! When all possibility of reuniting is gone, then, and only then, will we take in the baby to raise. It takes a lot of training and practice, and more practice for even the most kind-hearted rehabber to get it right and raise that baby to release. Wanting to do right by that orphan isn't all that is needed. We spend weeks upon weeks, sometimes 6+ months, rehabbing these orphans before we can successfully release them into their wild habitat. We spend hundreds of dollars in medicine, medical supplies, and specialized formulas to get them to release age. We operate solely on donations from our community members that want to help us keep working for the wild to be able to raise and release the hundreds of wildlife that come through of doors every year.
